How to Fill Your Keepsake

Filling your keepsake is a quiet, personal moment. Take your time, find a calm spot, and follow these simple steps.

You will need

• Your keepsake pendant
• A small funnel or a rolled piece of paper
• A sheet of paper or a small tray to catch any spills

Step by step

1. Open the pendant. Gently unscrew the small cap at the top of the pendant.
2. Add the ashes. Place the funnel in the opening and slowly add a small amount of ashes, a lock of hair, or a tiny keepsake. Only a very small amount is needed.
3. Close it securely. Screw the cap back on firmly so the contents stay safe.

Caring for your keepsake

Keep your pendant away from water, so remove it before showering, swimming or bathing. This protects the contents and helps prevent any loss of ashes.
